Sorry, this is not a review, but a question. I am working with antique books, scanning them for archival purposes. Many have unevenly stained, yellowing pages which require modifying to plain, even white. In some cases, areas of print are faded and need to be made darker and sharper. I don\'t have time to correct each page individually, so a batch solution would be required. My question is, is Batch AutoCorrector 0.8 up to the job? File formats would be Tiff or PNG (not Jpeg). A great utility... I would have been content with it if I hadn't also checked out Color Correction Wizard (also available via VicMan) which autocorrects better in my opinion.
Useful Program This program is a useful tool. I used it to color correct some photos where the colors had been screwed up by another photo editing program.
Batch AutoCorrector is A1 I downloaded Batch AutoCorrector to see if it would help me fix some digital photos that had been ruined while editing. Unfortunately they had already been erased from my camera and I hadn't saved them before the editing process. The pics were taken under poor light conditions and in my efforts to enhance them, I totally screwed up the colors.Batch AutoCorrector really came to the rescue. Good Little Tool IMSpellchecker XP has a well polished front end and works seamlessly with Yahoo Messenger and Skype (and probably others, but I only uses these two programs). It was easy to install and just works...what else can you ask for! There are configurable options too if one can be bothered. I can't spell and I normally have a word processor open when I chat, so this little tool can remove that burdon for me. If it was $15 or $20 U.S. I'd buy it but unfortunatly it's a little bit expensive for me at their asking price at the moment.
